Kindergarten Teachers! Remember that you can copy your Grade Marks from Quarter 1 into Quarter 2. You can make changes after the grades have been copied. Directions are in the link below!

Do You Need To Make a Correction to Progress Report 1?

Hello Secondary Teachers! Do you need to add or edit Progress Report grades? Follow the directions HERE to Request a Grade Change. Be sure to notify your building secretary once you have finished so that she can approve those changes. Call me if you need help! X8668

Skyward Gradebook Enhancement!

If you'd like your assignments and scores to stand out more in your gradebook, there is a new Enhancement in Skyward!
The default view will display subtle grey gridlines. If you want a bolder look you can choose to Use High Contrast Borders. If you are not sure which view you'd prefer ... take a look at the examples below:

To choose the High Contrast Option...

1. Navigate to one of your classes in your gradebook

2. Hover over the Display Options tab and select Assignment Display

3. Under Assignment Display Options, check the box next to Use High Contrast Borders

4. Click SAVE

Secondary Teachers ... Setup Your Categories!

Please DO NOT forget to have your Categories setup BEFORE Friday, August 25th!! Categories will be LOCKED and you will not be able to change your percentages on your own once the Progress Report period is over. Click Here if you still need help getting your Categories assigned.

You will receive your Skyward Login on Monday, July 24th at the New Teacher GCL. This site has all the self-help documents you need to get started with Skyward. You are always more than welcome to call or email me for help. Please click on the tabs at the top to find your specific area of training documents.

One quick tip I'd like to share with you is the SUPER easy way you'll take attendance

(1) Click on the Teacher Access tab and select Post Daily Attendance

(2) Click By Name

(3) All students are marked present by default. You'll mark those who are tardy or absent and click SAVE when you are done!

KINDERGARTEN Q4 Report Cards

Can you believe another school year has almost come to an end??! Soon you'll be sending your kindergartners off to 1st grade!

Just a reminder for those comments ... you'll want to be sure you've entered them in your KINDERGARTEN Homeroom class. If you enter them in your Reading, English or Math class they will NOT display on report cards. Call me if you need help!

Welcome Back From Spring Break~!

Hopefully you have enjoyed Spring Break!

...A few dates to keep in mind; Friday, April 21st is our LAST Progress Report for the year. Be sure to watch for notification from your building on when grades are due.

Not that you need a reminder, but our last student day is Thursday, June 1st.

**Remember to keep your assignments up to date! We have more and more parents checking Skyward now so PLEASE keep your gradebook up to date so that parents stay informed on their child's progress!
