 Just a friendly reminder for secondary teachers (excluding NGC)!!!

PLEASE remember to have your Categories Setup BEFORE Progress Reports are due! (Due date/time is decided at building level). Once this time passes you will no longer be able to edit Categories WITHOUT contacting me for help. Skyward locks your Categories in after the first reporting period.  If you are not sure how to edit your Categories you'll want to check out directions in link below...

Elementary: Transferring Grades from W@H -- BAM

 It's that time again! We need to get those grades transferred over for any student who moved to/from W@H -- BAM. I met with MANY of you near the end of Quarter 3 to walk you through this process. Instead of Google Meets for this quarter I am sending out a refresher Google Doc. If you get stuck somewhere just send me a quick email or give me a call!

Transferring Grades from W@H <--> BAM

***Elementary Attendance for TODAY; January 29th, 2021***

 ALL Student Attendance will be pre-filled and marked with a K (Virtual Due to COVID) today; January 29, 2021. This Present Code will appear to teachers as if the students have been marked Absent. If a teacher truly needs to mark a student absent they will have the option to Overwrite this Present Code:

1. Click the Overwrite link:

2. Click the Absent button for the student:

3. Click SAVE

  ***You will need to click the Overwrite link for each student who is absent.

 I've received a few calls today about how to enter comments! Here is a nice little refresher :)

Tip of the Week: Student Profile

Do you have new students this semester? Use the Student Profile to learn more about them! Click on the Teacher Access tab and select My Students.

Click on any student's name to bring up their profile. You'll have several tabs to choose from to view Student Information; such as Attendance, Schedule, Emergency Contacts, Test Scores and MUCH more!

Click on the Academic History link to view what was posted on the report card.

Remember on the Profile tab you can Edit Guardian Emails for your students!

ELEMENTARY TEACHERS: Entering NG

 FYI -- NGs MUST be entered as an override. If you enter them as a grade adjustment then they will calculate as a 0% which will affect the Final Grade for the subject. Directions for entering an NG override are below!
